It's difficult to believe but it's true.
The lack of a keystone bacteria causes a range of health issues.
Health issues that would not normally be attributed to the lack of a gut bacteria.
24 out of 25 people lack this vital keystone bacteria.
Keystone means upon which many other bacteria rely.
So lacking this one bacteria causes a cascade of problems.
Some health issues that can be improved just by re-introducing this beneficial bacteria:
Bad skin, poor digestion, poor mood (Oxytocin), over eating, poor sleep, weak muscles, ADHD, SIBO, H.Pylori, Candida.
Examples of the unexpected effects.
This bacteria can improve the relationship between a couple.
Who would think a gut bacteria would affect the female reproductive area.
This does show how important this one bacteria is.
This was discovered by Dr William Davis MD, a cardiologist for 25 years.
The solution is cheap and fast with positive effects starting after just 7 days.
The problem is caused by antibiotics killing off this beneficial bacteria.
Probiotics that are offered for sale either do not contain this vital bacteria or not in good enough quantities.
The only, and easy solution, is to ferment your own. This is very like making yoghurt, but with important differences.
So this is not yoghurt, this is a fermented product, although it tastes like a really good creamy yoghurt. Certainly not a "hard pill" to swallow.
The technique is as follows.
You need a pot of L.Reuteri capsules.
It's important that each capsule contains 10 or more billion bacteria.
You need a packet of Inulin which is a powder the bacteria feeds on.
You need whole fat milk.
You need full fat cream.
To make Half and Half, equal quantities of the two.
This must be heated to 95 deg C for at least 10 minutes.
This breaks down the long proteins so they can all be involved in the fermentation.
Leave it to cool to 37.8 deg C.
All utensils must be sterilized, by immersing in boiling water for at least 10 minutes.
That's bowls, flat whisk, spoon, icecube tray, glass jar.
Avoid utensils with crevices that can harbor dirt.
This is because fermentation is long.
Use glass or ceramic bowls and jars. Avoid heated fats and plastics, due to micro-plastic contamination.
I recommend the Luvelle Pure Plus with 2L Glass Container. Quality, with very good reviews. Your ferment is worth it, and will thank you.
Only use the band on the jar when it's cold.
I suggest you avoid the Waddell and Davis yogurt maker, and most others, the temperature control is very hit and miss. It's had lots of complaints. A shame because it looks nice. Carefully check reviews before investing.
Mix the milk and cream to make Half and Half and cover, and allow to stand to warm up to room temperature. About 1 hour.
Gently stir the contents of 4 capsules with 1 tablespoon of Inulin.
For the first fermentation from scratch, it's better to use 4 capsules, so the good bacteria overwhelm any possible bacteria in the Inulin.
Stir in a tablespoon of Half and Half and remove lumps.
Stir in the rest of the Half and Half. A whisk is better than a spoon.
Leave a gap at the top of the jar for expansion.
Cover.
Pour water around the glass jar to ensure an even temperature.
Ferment for 36 hours at 37.8 deg C (L.Reuteri likes 37 to 42 deg C) using an electric yogurt maker or similar.
The reason for 36 hours is it's the perfect fermentation duration to create the maximum number of bacteria. Shorter or longer and the results will not be as good. The number of bacteria doubles every 3 hours. In 36 hours there will be 12 doublings, so 4096 times as many beneficial bacteria, so 10 billion will become 40,960 billion.
You can let it finish at 5 to 6am and naturally cool to room temeperature.
Refrigerate for 6 hours.
Either leave in the 2L container or if doing more nearly empty into 2x 1L jars use the last 2 tablespoons of L.Reuteri ferment with 1 tablespooen of Insulin and 1x capsule of L.Reuteri.
Stir and add 2L of half and half.
Refrigerate what's left.
Eat 2 tablespoons each day with food.
Start to feel better after 7 days.
Say thank you to Dr William Davis MD a wonderful doctor who has been dedicated to helping people.
You can watch a very good video of Dr William Davis talking to Dr Eric Berg to hear how surprised Eric was, and how beneficial it's been to him and his family. A link if needed: More affectionate, more muscle, more sleep on YouTube

It's not life threatening but it will ruin a batch. So I think it's best to treat the fermentation of L.Reuteri like a hospital theater. It gets a long warm environment, but so to will undesirable bacteria. The aim should be to absolutely minimize the undesirables. This means sterilization. That means 100 deg C for at least 10 minutes. But not just the obvious things, the bowls, the utensils. First consider the utensils. Only ones that can be sterilized, no hidden crevices. So tongs that are just metal, not rubber grips. Then the work surface you put the utensils on. Or do you only put them in a sterilized cups? Not a clean but un-sterilized surface. A sheet of glass that can be sterilized. No clean but un-sterilized cloths. Consider everything that comes into contact with utensils and the precious fermentation products. Think about the environment. The air. During preparation turn things off. If you can smell next doors bonfire, that means your room has next doors bugs. What about your breath. One situation where a spit mask might be worthwhile. Try and think of everything and minimize the threat. Minimize the time when contamination can occur. All so you can enjoy your ferment.
Most people don't go to that extreme. They rely on the dishwasher and rinsing before use under a hot tap. They get consistantly good results. As long as contamination is very low the good bacteria should win. But, please think about cleanliness. This video is a very good guide to cleanliness. You can skip to 8:45 if you just want the making part.
