Exercises I Invented
Using right weak leg. Stand at bottom of stairs. Hold rail with both hands. Step up with weak leg. Step up with strong leg. You're now on the first step. Step down with strong leg. Step down with weak leg.
Tips: You may not feel with your weaker leg. You need care with locking your joint. Maybe start avoiding joint locking so you are using your muscles. When you get more proficient carefully and thoughtfully lock your knee and then unlock it before lowering on it. Avoid the sudden unlocking collapsing feeling you may feel at first.
This is using the weaker leg to raise and lower your weight.
Start with one, then 2, then 5, then 10, then 20. By 50 you'll be getting some cardio going. By 100 you'll be panting and recovering for 10 to 20 minutes :) You can increase your target lol I'm at 120 steps, 120 up and 120 down, which is 8 floors with 15 steps per floor. Next day 160 steps, 160 up, 160 down, which is 10.7 floors with 15 steps per floor My target is the Queens Tower at Imperial College London. I might be mad lol 287 feet tall, 21.6 x 15 steps !!! From my current 10.7 floors to 22 !!!
One for legs and arms. This just for hands/arms. Stand in front of the exercise bike facing the wrong way. Use arms to move hand bars. Start at 1, then 2, then 5, 10.... I'm not at 150 !!!! Good cardio.
Something solid to hold onto which avoids balance issues. Bend and straighten legs. Can put weight on one leg.
Sit on bed, stand up again, repeat. Same sitting on couch, why just sit when you can almost sit, stand, and repeat. No need to just sit when you can repeat several times.
